hello everybody! i would've abandoned my blog but yap sze vien has summoned me on my facebook wall to blog. so i am here to harass you with an update, which really consists of nonsense. but follow me on twitter @ mcwaiyee to follow my life closely (i don't guarantee i will grant access, but let me know who are you. :))

so these are some random pictures taken over the weeks since i got my fawesome iphone. :) my bubs helped me sell off my blackberry, and now i am a proud owner of an iphone 4. i can't say i hate my blackberry, it's useful, keeps me updated on my work life when i am off work. hahahahaha. but i love the iphone because the games keep me occupied all the time. i now, do not feel lonesome anymore, wtf. and the most important aspect, the camera is awesome! i love the gazillion applications they have for photography. the FaceTime feature is tri-awesome because it means free video calls!

and then last week i spent shopping everywhere! considering the sales and what nots. first was the Zara warehouse sale which i went at 10 am and i was first to enter. the S sizes were abundant!

then was uniqlo's opening, where i hated everything about uniqlo. they have very pretty wool jackets and wool workwear which clearly isn't suited for the malaysian weather. other than that, i am not too impressed. spent 30 mins inside, got nothing and headed over to pavilion for some Forever 21, where i got the prettiest floral dress! whee!

nope, i didn't line up for 3 hours. just 5 minutes! i was practically all geared up for lining up. i brought brownies, some work and even an umbrella, most importantly, a fully charged iphone4. yes. :)

then there was my good friend's engagement. congrats, sweetheart! i haven't seen her for the longest time! :( makes me sad already. i shall beep her soon.

that's all thus far. i will update with pictures from now onwards. i hope this keeps my lesbo friend from faraway perth happy. i know you're bored in the land of nowhere lol.

new skincare routine. :)

good day everybody! am back with another productive post. likely useful for the ladies, unlikely the men. i am sorry i promised to come back to blog the other day, but i guess i failed myself. lol. this was supposed to be up like 1 month back but i never seem to got to do it. lazy me.

when i got back from my subway dinner with hubby(i love subway!), i thought i'd take the night off and blog not just about my updated skin care routine, but also my top 10 shops/brand/etc to shop at! but before i promise that, i shall promise myself to take more outfit pictures. hahaha. sure fail. i shall start tomorrow! sigh, plans to do my MC scripts have also failed because i stopped by facebook for far too long!

so i changed my entire skin care routine probably 1.5 months ago. i realized i was all of a sudden having mad oily face. sigh. and it could be because my skin was already dry, adding on to that, i sit under an air conditioner all day long. thus too dry will cause skin to oil! i was using cleanser, toner and moisturizer for oily skin. i thought i'd change into something more hydrating. so i switched back to the entire range of biotherm aquasource.

love the moisturizer! now i don't oil too easily. though i still oil. it's only normal.

exfoliater. i love the smell of my apricot scrub! this is only rm18. scrub maybe once or twice a week, it'll give you healthier skin!

then i was concerned over the 'pore' problem. maybe it's just an aging thing. but i hate pores and apparently pores are cause by oily skin (i don't buy that still). however, this pore sake serum by skin food doesn't work. it smells heavenly and even my boyfriend agrees to that. BUT IT DOESN'T WORK! boohoo! sigh. any recommendations for a good pore minimizing serum?

lastly would be the cucumber soothing mask from skin food. great for relaxation but doesn't do much after that. very very cooling! however, when i got the serum and this, the salesgirl gave me a couple of sample size black sesame mask and i LOVE that!

but this is an amazing relaxing mask nonetheless!

everything else for my skin care routine remains the same, but a few acne products have changed though! lol. next up will likely be more outfit posts! yay!!

hello!! yinwai asked why the sudden change of layout. changed layout, with hopes i will tend to blog more. :) i haven't even made time to blog about my new skin care routine fml. which i think i would do so by tonight. so i will make tonight my 'blogging' night. :D applaud my determination, but let's see if i get to doing it. lol.

this was my second day with new hair! i got sick of my long, lifeless hair and one day just decided to get rid of it. clearly i am not the kind who can live with one hairstyle for the longest time. i like to go long and then short and then long and then short, and the story goes on. lol. i just need to make sure i can carry both long and short hairdos! lol. fickle minded much.

haven't blogged for a very long time. it's almost bed time for me but decided to blog because if i don't do it now, i will never do it. hahahaha. already extremely sleepy at 9.34pm. working life, sigh. practically a rojak post because i have been up to nothing but work, work and more work and highlights of my week would be seeing yinwai during the weekends. fun!

her usual favourite dinner spot at chulo cafe. love the potato gratin, but it wasn't salty enough that night. had the orange roasted chicken (can't remember the exact name) but it was scrumptious. and yin wai's grilled chicken was also delicious!

an ordinary weekend out with my other half. had yummy pepper lunch for dinner (ironic...pepper lunch for dinner!). still love pepper lunch, but the portion has just gotten smaller, sigh. also less beef strips compared to the last time i was there.

tried tutti fruitti for the first time on the very same night! i liked it! reminds me n my other half of nelson's back in atria. how they had corn flakes in their ice cream. yum! but do remind me for not choosing such a 'differen't flavoured yoghurt the next time around. a tad bit too pricey though!

had muuuuuch fun last week cause yin wai brought me to bon odori! yay! this time around i got to sit on the grounds and eat whatever i want. food was YUM! i could have easily gulped up 3 bowls of udon. the udon was scrumptious! the down side of bon odori this time around would be...there's just too many people!

but really enjoyed my night though! nope, i didn't dance.

starlight star bright!

so my hubby and i have decided to give i-city a visit many weeks back. but we found ourselves too often caught up with some other things to do. for eg, shopping fml. the first time i saw i-city was on vivien's blog, vvens.com. i adore that her pictures gave a very 'autumny' feel to it, considering the pictures were taken in the day and after in rained (not too sure if she ps-ed them). then i saw it in again in kim's blog (kiminpink.com), and she did have the same picture effects. therefore i really wanted to go in the broad daylight. but my other half wanted to see it in the night, so we went in the evening. great idea because we saw the transition of lights!

i can't say it's too far. and definitely not too difficult to look for. perfect place for photoshooting. and also to paktoh, if you ever needed a place to bring a girl to.

they also had buildings there. very sort of NZX at ara damansara if you remember (the place is now a ghostly town). they now have a steamboat and bbq place, gasoline (i likeeeey!) and...some cafe called orange cafe. many offices around. and they also have mobile restaurants (pizza hut on wheels!). very limited choice of food in that area. so if you really wanna dine there, i suggest, pack your own picnic bag, go early to book a bench! (if you don't like eating with a lot of malays, then forget this idea) being located in shah alam, this place is flooded with malays (i am not racist!) but haven't seen a lot of rempits, maybe a few potential ones, hahaha.

so when driving around, becareful of motors!

gosh, monday has come. it is going to be a really difficult week ahead for me. especially for a person like me who detests disappointing people. i never faced a farewell without tearing. sigh. but no matter how tough it is, it is a path i have chosen. will be a rough and very different path from the usual ones, but i really hope and pray things will go well. if things go well, i believe i will fly high.


i wished i did more outfit posts. but baby says my dressing sucks. so i cannot do outfit posts, i am not qualified, fml. before going to bed, i have to announce, mng is on sales! i got this pair of jeans at a very affordbale price. i look rather short in jeans and i look very chubby at my thigh area when i have jeans on! but this one ain't that bad. right right right? very proud of my purchase today.

anyway, whole outfit from mng, except the bag (charles&keith, yapszevien) and belt (cotton on, thanks jack for the souvenir!) and shoes (not shown from opera).

HELLO EVERYBADI! how are you! hahaha. it is 2.21am now, and i'm dead sleepy. but thought i'd post something for the week. i had an awesome awesome fawesome weekend, thanks to @munyinwai! but i am feeling slightly down now because jacky cheung is playing on my playlist. such emotional and touchy songs (though i do not understand what he sings most of the time fml).

had a very very long day today. tried to take a nap in the noon, but couldn't fall asleep. gosh. spent rm18 for a blow and dry at the saloon because i was just merely accompanying the hubby. urgh. wasted rm18. my life sucks. i just didnt want to sit there and wait. sides i was really lazy to wash my own hair (wtf?! lol). you see, i didn't wash my hair in the morning, hahahaha. zomg, dirty.

the usual movie + date night out with hubby on a saturday night.

can't tell if i really liked karate kid the movie. touchy at some points. but realllllly draggy. felt like forever. the goddamn show was 2.5 hours. WTH?! i understand if it's lord of the rings! but, karate kid?!?! haha. but if you're bored to your wits, go ahead. moderate entertainment.

nicely blown rm18 hair, fml, i hate you mun yin wai! rarrrr! i have been having crazy breakouts! i do not know why. =( so upsetting. so i've been trying some cream which dries out the pimple fast, but it's so drying, it dries the skin around my pimple. sigh. thanks to all those keropok at work, and all the peanuts and the lack of water. ahhh! does anyone know any miraculous cure?! i am moving into my new company soon and i don't want to be breaking out by then!

yes! i will be moving in no time! because of the hike in salary =) yay! and also a better position. though smaller company, definitely i feel it's a less stressful work place. happy workplace + higher salary + better position = new job! yay! so um, wish me luck? i've met my boss, very very nice laidback chap. hopefully he is kind. /fingers crossed

what a girlie thing!

hello everyone! after such a long hiatus, i believe i should compensate with something good. i don't believe this post will be something good for everyone, but it will serve the girls well!

so since i started working, i've been scouting for random things all the time (shopping, ahem). and since i've been working, i find myself needing a lot of other nonsense! fml. read ahead to see what beauty items i've so far favourited!


the maybelline gel eyeliner. i believe i saw this gel eyeliner from a youtuber before. but i could never find it in malaysia. so when diana, my work buddy, was raving about how amazing this is, i had to go and see. i personally prefer using liquid eyeliners because they stay on the entire day and gives a dramatic effect instead of a smokey one.

so instead of spending rm 70++ on a bobbi brown gel eyeliner, i found this sweetheart. and sze vien would love this! the maybelline gel eyeliner comes with its own exclusive brush (which i think ain't that exclusive cause it's not too good to use). it stays on the entire day and doesnt smear. bravo! extremely affordable at only rm 35+. good news for yap sze vien!

i have seriously been living alongside this next item, which would be skin food's bb cream. it gives you the completely flawless skin (only if your skin is already 60% flawless lah). it is just seriously something which you've been using and will decide you can't live without it anymore. fml. not too costly, just rm 55 for a tube, which likely will last you 3 to 4 months.

which this, you will just need the bb cream + loose powder + blusher to complete a fair and radiant outlook (which is obviously fake, but do we care?). I swear by my bb cream! but live it aside on sundays so my skin breathes!

the effects of the next product is nothing to shout about. we're talking about the vaseline's total moisture lotion. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HOW IT SMELLS!! so does my boyfriend! however, the downside of this product is that, the moisturizing effect will not last too long. i still use it before i go to bed. but when i know i will be stuck in an air cond room for hours, i use the QV lotion, which is way moisturizing than this.

oh, this is only rm 3.90! steal!

the face shop quick&clean first aid gel. makes a not too bad pimple gel. but really nothing to rave about because it's pretty costly. i can't remember too well, but it should be around rm 30 for a small tube as picture above! smells really nice, nothing like those oxy tea tree shit you people use and swear by, but never works. i still prefer my nexcare blemish patches (hearts long time yo!)!

and still sticking to my ordinary skin care routine. i hate the moisturizer, it smells like mosquito repellent i use before i go into the jungle. =( but i love clinelle. it's one of the most affordable skin care products which actually works!

been shopping for shoes (and clothes) a lot! my small collection now has grown from maybe 3 pairs of flats and 2 pairs of heels up to maybe 10 ballet flats and 6 pairs of heels! still not a fan of sandals or slippers. anything with a bow or flower, my colleagues will say 'this is so marianne!', which is true. what a girlie girl.

i still spend a lot of time hunting for working clothes! and pencil skirts! yay!

this is hubby, who wants an iphone 3g, but there's no stock at the moment! but hubby has gone crazy over clothes just like me! haha.

dinner at d'italiane kitchen, i love the spicy beef bacon aglio olio! but hubby's smoked duck pasta was damn yummy too! da-yumn. i been packing a lot of fats at all the wrong places. how not to when hubby only feeds me with things like italiannies, and loads of cheese and loads of sushi zanmai. fml. i hate myself for not being able to say no.

but it is FOOD!
