Sheng Hwang's 20th Birthday

23rd December was a big day. Rather hectic one. But it was an awesome day. Actually the best of that week itself. I have a habit of liking to keep myself busy. I woke up, reluctantly, very early that morning and boy, did it make my day.

I woke up to the most beautiful blue skies ever! This is the view from my window. The sun was warm and the weather was fine. Blue skies = symbol of a great day.

Headed off to 1u for some shopping and lunch. Got some last minute stuffs. I was the driver of the day despite having minimal sleep. Reached home awfully late and thought Yee Vonn would have to wait for me, but alleluia, she got stuck in the jam (which is a good thing, this time, haha).
That day itself was pretty important because...

on the 23rd of December, was Brandon’s 20th surprise birthday gathering. It was quite a hassle because, being the person behind it, and being a Capricorn (Capricon-ers are perfectionists), I was sort of trying to make everything perfect. Being the usual me, I wanted everyone to be happy. Picking the venue was really the hardest task of the bunch. Sorry for the change of venue.Less on the organizing, more on the pictures shall we? People say, a picture says a thousand words.

Everyone was supposed to reach before the birthday boy himself, but, hello, Msian timing and Msian traffic. His group of friends arrived late but Brandon was still shocked himself. He suspected I had no ability to do that, wtf, looked down on me (trust me when I say I can do more than that, I am beauty and brains, wtf, hehe, kidding). Everyone was really cooperative with informing me little details though no one knew anyone.

Got him a car model. (Plan for presents gone wrong.)
First four to arrive would have to be....haha, including me of course duh. Thanks for the pick up Sexy!

Three very gorgeous Senoritas. Yee Vonn’s tube matches the place very well. Oh I finally picked De Canter SS17. Thought Brandon wanted something quaintly and cosy but still friendly enough for everyone. Prices are relatively reasonable. But I honestly, just love the ambience more.

This picture is to prove Zenius makes mistakes and maybe that’s what cost him a mark for his Empirical Studies. Not only that, Zenius even forgot to remove the price tag, wtf. *claps hand* You’re finally human. Humans make mistake.

Miss Metro Jin and Mr USJ4(like some Rukun Tetangga thing going on)...wtf....Jin’s property. We were very very proud of Jin, she was early!!!

J kuasa dua? Jack and Jacq. Jack the Citiwanker, really. Who can be anal at times.

Birthday boy was really idiotic. He came with his shirt tucked in, double-lew-tee-ef! Seriously. Tuck in, no party for him!

Hello there, gorgeous! Haha, that’ll be for me.

Hello there, UniTen cutie (don’t worry, he’ll never read this, so we can comment 99!)! You know what I am talking about. And Florence is ...always camera ready?

Me looking cute, HAHA! And Choon How, definitely, not cute.

Eww. With Leory.

If you’re wondering why am I uploading here after uploading in Facebook already, these pictures are highly, edited. So they look real much better. Chun Huei and Ah Hwang. (so if you didn’t catch their names at the dinner table, here they are)

Group piccies! That’s Jason in the formal shirt in the first pic. Apparently quoted as the Publicwanker by the Citiwanker (he doesn’t read this, i hope). That’s er, Mandee PCLew (her nick in Facebook, sorry i don’t know her), she’s a stewardess in Air Asia and she should meet my very pretty Loy Ee Vonn, my personal SIA stewardess (hot stuff i tell u). I should be a stewardess too, so fun, no need to study, fuck the CGPA and scholarship. But no, I can’t swim, HAHA! Shhhh... So what! I am more than coffee or tea, I am.....equities or Forex. That sweetheart is Florence, very very hot Salsa Senorita there, trust me. Florence is...Leory’s chick (lucky shit) and she’s got assets!
In the second pic, there’s the guy in brown and the girl in white....whom are complete strangers to me. But I think they are...Brandon’s mah-jong kakis. That’s Ivan on the top, who OBVIOUSLY hadn’t had a haircut in the past decade, boo.

Hello again, cutie! (what an eye candy) Haha. Why can’t Brandon look a lil bit happier?

That’s er, Seong Leng (is this how you spell his name?) aka Monkey, with the tongue sticking out of his mouth. That’s Leonard the hottie/cutie next to Monkey. The one taking up the most space would be Bryan. Haha, oops!

Brandon with people whom you may be more familiar with.

The sexy in Orange.

Ahhh!! Boh-tuck!

Sheng Hwang with two other Senoritas. Jo and Kelly.

3.0 up and away. Bye Jack! Hehe. Just kidding, I was torturing Zenius the entire night. I apologize. Hehe!

The real Senorita...Hehe!
This was drafted on Christmas day on Microsoft Word. My line is unfortunately down so I am taking the opportunity to carefully draft out my blog posts. Seriously, Streamyx is a bitch.

A New Born King is the King of all Kings!

Before I proceed any further, a sweet, blessed and joyous Christmas to every single of my friend/ chat buddy. Wishing you and your families, great health and even better love among yourselves. God bless and peace be with all of you.

If you’re asking how was my Christmas, supposingly I had a terrible, horrendous time, but I think, I’ve decided to dispose the bad chi. I had a bad time preparing myself for Christmas this time around. Usually, I anticipate Christmas with much joy and excitement. This year around, I kept getting my heart broken. Family issues that is. And friends have been very kind, hearing me out and all that. So, thank you. You guys turn my world 180 degrees around. It is 5 am (this was drafted on 25/12/08), Christmas morning, and so far....you can tell my Christmas has been relatively amazing.

There’s seriously nothing better than a hot cup of Milo, and feeling all Christmassy. Hell, yeah. Lovin’ the mug yo.

And lovin’ the bolster, wtf. Just that, I now have 3 bolsters. Haha.
Besides making this a Christmas post, I’ve decided that, since I haven’t been blogging for the longest time, I’ve decided to do something that er, I’ve been asked a couple of times before. There were people who asked, how my room really looked like and how do you keep clothes organized and the infamous ‘Seriously, I wanna know how much clothes you have!’ phrase. So this is one blog post which may be sort of interesting, well, if you’re curious about my room and stuffs.

Upon entrance, you’d perhaps bum into my table for bags. Haha. And there, my secret treasure box, where I keep all the rubbish I do not want to see. There are actually more bags inside, which I do not use. For a petite girl like me, I have quite a few bags. Very bad actually. So table for bags is near the door, because the last thing I grab before I head out is of course, my bag. And yes, that row of cupboards is my wardrobe.

Well with many stuffs hanging on its knobs. Nice beanie, which someone got me. Argh, obscene, bikini, where I was supposed to tan in, but clearly for the past few weeks, the weather God wasn’t in his mood. Santa hat, duh, Christmas, but I never really had the chance to wear it. So, invite me to your Christmas party, pretty please? *doe eyes blinking* And .... the very much needed MNG black wool cardigan, which I carry pretty much too everywhere.
And if you can see three drawers, and wondering those are clothes too, NO! I am not insane, am I? Haha. I keep er, shoes, more bags (you must be wondering how many bags I have, and it is ALOT) and belts in the first drawer. The second is for RUBBISH. Presents whom my auntie’s godfather’s uncle’s cousin’s daughter’s fiance’s nanny gave it to me for Christmas/birthday/bla/souvenirs. Things which I clearly do not like. Haha! Then in the third, that’s for board games! I have loads of board game ala, Cluedo...Taboo, Pictionary, Monopolies (two sets! wtf) and my ultimate fav, the Scrabble game!!

Here you will see, my chest of drawers, full length mirror on further left, the thing to hang your clothes (what do you call this??? Help!) and side table to my bed (shot this picture from my bed). Usually, my table (on the chest of drawers) is MESSY! But the maid dearly, cleaned it toda-e!

So if you’re wondering what’s on that table of mine, then imma gonna tell you here mama. I have...well, girlie necessities. Deodorants wtf, make up, many lashes for different occasions, the plastic container for headbands/hair accessories, leave-in conditioners, sunblock lotion, baby oil (great make up remover hello, try it!), powder, combs and ....Mother Mary’s little statue. Haha, for real and it glows in the dark.

And if you’re thinking, that those are clothes in the drawers..then you are, 100% right! Haha. Drawer for my sister’s necessities if she stays over, drawer for intimate clothings...ahem, very very, I repeat, VERY sexy lingerie. Hehe! Not sexy lah. Big drawers for home clothes ala pyjamas which just mainly consist of school t-shirts, haha, wtf. Another for baby tees and shorts. Last one for nonsense. Haha.

And lastly...is this the last? My little haven. Haha. My bed duh, I spend almost half my life here. Favourite place to be besides 1u. Hehe. And yes, I have a lot of bolsters!!! That cute little flower pillow if from an ex, which I used to hug to bed, now, is my ‘alas’ laptop. RM120 for an ‘alas’ is really not too bad. Those are just books on the side table (Nora Roberts = good stuff, best author ever, ever!...next to JK Rowling that is, she’s God).

Last but not least, if you’re wondering...are those really clothes in those wardrobe. I once was talking to a friend/senior, and she said ‘I seriously do not know who would really organize their clothes according to type or colours, freaky!’. I shyly replied, ‘Well, me actually.’ I am a freak when it comes to clothes organization.

Main wardrobe. Tops, skirts, shorts and....outerwear, jackets, cardis and...fur jacket, wtf, I lost my mind, forgot I live in Msia when I was picking out clothes from the Forever 21 website (too excited, it was CHEAP hello!). I always try to organize them according to colour and...long sleeves vs short ones, do not wtf me. I mean, obviously, I am a clothing freak. Those paper bags at the bottom are boxes for presents (people give me, I take out from box, use and keep the box, understood-ed?). And *guilty*, those are shoes behind. Haha. I keep them there so my mum would never find out. Backpacks for camping are hidden behind too, I lost my sleeping bag *sob*. Camping anyone?

Long cupboards for gowns which are kept in plastic covers.

Dresses and uniforms (I still keep my lousy government school uniforms! So what!) and tank tops. Few weeks ago, I went out of space (now still outta space) in the first cupboard, so I shifted some over. And how sweet, I still leave one cupboard for my sister. She’s also like me, consistently run out of space at home for clothes. So she brings some over to ‘tumpang’. Genes. Oh, and if you can really see in the previous pic, I have stacks of clothes beneath....those are clothes which I don’t want to wear anymore.....and ALCOHOL behind those clothes, hohoho!

LAST! All girl’s best friend, the full length mirror, hello! And well, more shoes. Haha.

So I hope you enjoyed you virtual trip to my room. This is obviously an About Me post. I still have so much to blog about. The BBQ gathering, the best friend’s 20th, Sheng Hwang’s 20th surprise, Christmas eve hang out and more Christmas piccies. Hmmmft.
Time to hit the bed. Good night everyone, and Merry Christmas once again!!

My Favourite Time of the Year

It is normal annual routine to go round having fun watching the Christmas decoration of different malls every year. This year is no different from the rest. Last year, 1u was my favourite among all malls, because they picked the perfect theme, the Nutcracker, which was of much resemblance of my favourite Christmas carol, The Little Drummer Boy. 1u decorations last year was magnificient and outdid every other mall. The 'Drummer Boy' stole my heart!
This year, I must say Curve did a good job. It is extravagant, with loads of lights and the garden theme. However it isn't my favourite because clearly they used too many lights and with everything happening, nowadays, the environment is of utmost priority. Maybe if they toned down the lights, it would be my pick. However, I must say 1u's decoration isn't much favoured by me as well. The only element which caught my heart is probably the white theme! Sweet. Yet pure and sincere.

I HATED THIS SHIT! SINCE WHEN ANGELS LOOKED SO SCARY! Geez. I curse whoever designed this. They made Christmas a nightmare.

I am tiny! Pictures taken at Curve.

I like the white theme, but they did to exagerate it more a lil.

Very pretty trees.
Christmas is a sacred festival. Over the years, I've realized how much Christmas has been made a marketing tool to boost sales and how commercialized Christmas has become. Malls try to outdo each other in decorations and sale cards hanging everywhere. Have we, materialized Christmas?
Every year, on the 25th of December, people around the world celebrate the birth of Christ, who was sent to save us from sin. Christmas is not about Santa Clauses (Santa Claus was invented by Coca Cola), or elves or Mega Sales. Christmas is my favourite holiday, because it doesn't matter if we're Chinese, Malay or Indian, we all buy gifts to celebrate. It doesn't mean you have to be a Christian to celebrate Christmas, because I am sure (WWJD!), Christ would welcome anyone into His home and heart. In the bible, not only he accepted taxpayers and sinners and prostitutes. If this is so, I am sure people who different skin colour, as long as they are sincere and celebrates Christ within his heart, Christ will welcome us into His home. As I stroll along the aisles of gifts, people of different races join in to pick something for their dear and loved ones. This is what love is supposed to be, no boundaries and no discrimination or colours and races (I still hate rempits). Christmas don't judge us.
Christmas is not about preparing the best gifts for a person. Christmas is about love, that we have in Christ, in each other, in your neighbour. Sharing joy and happiness in every way. Christmas is about charity, when we learn to give back, because of what God gave us. Christmas is about family. About sacrifice, how God created Jesus, and in the end, only gave His only son away to redeem the world (that's more Easter than Christmas though).
So bear in mind, as we celebrate this holy time of the calender, the Advent, is not about how many presents under the pine tree, but rather, how the family gathered together to put the tree up.
Before you start picking a gift up from the mall, make sure you learn to celebrate Christmas in your heart first! Sing out the joy of love for the birth of Christ, which eventually saved us. Bow, for once, in respect, because He is the King. So if you feel love, charity, sharing and family, rejoice, and celebrate! Glory to the New Born King.
Lastly, when you pray, try to stop asking for something, instead thank and praise Him first. Don't forget to ask for forgiveness. Sometimes, God, Jesus, all the other Saints, need a break from all the requests we have.

All I Want For Christmas

Every year I try to come up with a list of what I want for Christmas. Unfortunately, people seldom read it. Sob.

Anyway, I am still gonna do it, and nope, nothing is gonna stop me!

And please please please, do not get me any decorative items. I have said before in my previous blog, that too many people buy me nonsense, and sometimes I just throw them away. You don't want me to do that, do you? Hehe.

So follow the list closely!

1. For no reason, mukluks.
The saddest fact is I am in Malaysia, and it makes no sense to wear any sort of mukluks. However, today I bumped into someone in mukluks in 1u, how cool is that! And now I have changed my mind and I want mukluks! I love the one in stripes the most. But definitely wouldn't mind the other two.

2. Scarves. (SOLD!...or rather...BOUGHT! Haha...)

Scarves because if you know me, I am a true scarf lover. I was walking around Forever 21 today, and fell deeply in love with the scarf (the one on the right). Scarves keep me warm and loved!
3. Flats for comfort!

Ballerina flats because I need them. And just couldn't find the perfect one. I love love love the light brown one but I don't think there's any likelihood that I can find one like that in Malaysia. So even if you don't want to get me as a gift, just let me know where to get them! Thanks! Oh btw, private message me for my size, HAHA!
4. BEANIE! I WANT A BEANIE!

This is supposed to be no.1, but yeah I sort of am not used to blogger yet. I really really really want a beanie! I have already laid my eyes on one in Promod 1u (or Sunway, ahem). It is stripey like the second one. And it is RM49, so if it is in your budget and you're thinking what to get me, this is it! Woohoo! There's no reason for me to have a beanie, but I really just want it!
5. Bags. Any sort. Preferably canvas ones. Red and cute. Or yellow. Yellow is my new favourite colour, wtf. Besides white! Well, basically a bag to fit everything!
And yes, I will keep updating!

Friends whom I rather not call friends.

I am 20 and have come a long way into realizing so many things. Though I feel as if I have a long more way to learn and experience, this post is about what I've learnt so far. This is a subjective post, you can wish to comment or not to comment.

I must agree, when I was young, I may have been naive and weak. But given so many years, I have been given the opportunity to observe, learn and realize many things only time can teach me.

Have you been in high school and felt as if friends and the 'group' is the only thing that matters? That you'd do anything to fit in or to be someone else just to fit in? Have you been blindly following someone whom you thought was pretty/handsome or smart/cool just to be friends, or actually, to be recognized? The ultimate question is, have you grown up?

Sad to say, I used to be a person who felt as if the 'group' is the only thing that matters. And boy must I say, I have been wrong. Things will grow, things will change and new things come, sometimes, better things crosses our pathway.

There are a few type of 'friends' whom I sometimes prefer not to call them friends. Sorry, this is a very very girlie post. This may not refer to you, but in some ways, you will see the connection.

The Hypocrite The hypocrite friend is a friend whom promises all the shit in the world and thank you for all the shit you've done, all the shit you've roughed it out for her/him, but all you get is well, nothing. Well usually, whenever I offer a helping hand, I never ever expect anything in return. But one type of hypocrite friend annoys me, is the one who tells you 'your choice of music sucks' and the next moment you hear her humming the tune in the car. Is this familiar enough? Or let me give another girlier example shall I? The hypocrite friend is the one who tells you 'I will not wear that dress lor/I will not wear that colour for prom lor' and moments after that, you spot her in a similar patterned dress. Haha, doesn't this make you laugh? Don't call me a meanie, but there are other things nicer to say like 'not my choice'. Have you had a friend like this? If you do, don't be intimidated!

The Jealous The jealous friend is always the worst possible friend you can ever have. She silently curses the shit out of you or watches your back, and does everything to get to you. Let's see how this work. The jealous friend goes after your ex-boyfriend and even knowing that you may still have feelings for him, she dates him. That is one jealous and slutty friend. Well, jealousy just portrays insecurity. Don't be afraid of friends like this. Firstly, this clearly shows you are better than her, she just wants to be like you. She wishes to have your clothes, shoes, family, friends, lover and your life. Show her the thumbs up sign, and remember, the original is always the better!

The LoA The lack of attention friend is ..well, a friend who yearns for attention. She tries to ouperform you in everything, but she puts in 300% of effort, you put in 30%, and God is on your side. She tailors she prom dress to be more attention seeking and she tries to befriend everyone. (Trust me, befriending everyone is not a very good thing) She tries to make every guy notice her and you are naturally, well the rose of the group. Only time can destroy these kind of friend because sooner or later, people will realize she's annoying and seeking attention. Then if she was the kind who went over the line by flirting, she'll be gone in no time.

The Dependent The dependent friend is a very very troublesome friend. Well, usually when we are younger, the dependent friend is not a problem (because grouping is all we do). But when we grow up, we have other itineries in hand and start having other friends (friends do grow and extand, you know), the dependent friend has got to learn on how to be independent. I can't give specific characteristics of a dependent friend. However, we can't really blame a dependent friend, maybe they're born that way. Just do not let her take advantage of you. Don't allow her to say 'eh i wanna go shopping and you should fetch me'. But instead she should be saying 'eh i wanna go shopping, i'll come pick you up'.

These are four types of friend I really don't mind not calling a friend.

Haha. Back to me. These are pictures from aeons ago. A dinner trip to Kuala Selangor.

I like paperbag skirts! Comfortable yet chic.

Anyway, curly or straight?

And please, BBQ is this Tuesday, please make it, because we just have two months to go! That sounds really sad, but it is the truth (no, I am not going to Melbourne, but some other people are). Do you think it will rain this coming Tuesday? It is raining really heavy outside right now.

Because I am getting the food for everyone, I need you guys to RSVP by Sunday okay? No ffk-ing!! Muacks!
