Birthday Hoo-Ha!

Hello everyone! From high and low and everywhere! Haha. And first of all, Happy goddamn new year! I do not know why, but for the first few days, my new year was really on a good note. But then it turned sore, I fell sick for a few days and now I am still having a headache and seriously, have I ever told you how I hate people bitchin' about things which aren't true? (diversifying for a wee bit, to me, if you do not know the entire story, do not say a word. it makes you look like a complete DUMB bimbo, period.) Anyway, bad chi aside, my 21st birthday is around the corner!


I am completely excited on the other hand, but feeling really depressed on another because hello, I am aging! But I sure do look the same like when I was younger (according to some friends, my face never changes).


So here is my ultimate wishlist!


Firstly, I highly and truly understand if you cannot afford a present. Or you do not intend to buy one. I am totally cool with it. What I really dislike is, people who don't give sincerely. So yeah, if you do not have a heart, just a wish will do, or just forget my birthday (seriously, i am cool with it). At the end of the day, it is not how many birthday wishes I have on my cell (handphone...that is), or how many friends wished me on Facebook. I only want to spend my special 21st with people I love, and people who actually love me.


And, if you want to have a dinner with me, please make a reservation. I am currently taken on 17th and 18th itself. I am fine with lunch but I want a dressy dinner (please, low cost thanks, people grow up to take finance seriously). (dressy dinner means ...loads of picture taking, nice dresses and make up)


Finally, ahhh, the wishlist! I designed this wishlist to accomodate people who can really afford aka people who want to splurge and also for people who are constantly on a tight budget. At times, I am understanding like this and do not want everyone to fork out something they are not willing to! So this wishlist may include stuffs from RM 3 up to RM 500. =)) How awesome is that!


First 'i-want' item on my 21st birthday wishlist would be panties. Cute panties wtf. Initially I would have totally opted for thongs/G-strings but yeah minis would do too! Thongs/G-strings or minis would cost up to RM20 (pictures taken from Topshop.. i LOVE their undies! lurve it). Please don't pick me somethign translucent, very not practical hello. If you knew it, I always like something girly (BUT not too pink) and cute, shouts with personality. Simplicity is a key too.
CUTE! Love that it is white (my fav colour) and love the ribbon at its front. Very sweet yet romantic.

VERY FUNKY AND CUTE! Totally out of the box. This is one of my choices because this is very very cute. Nothing beats a superwoman!

Honestly, this is my favourite. If you knew me well enough, you'd know I love gingham prints! I like its little ruffles at the edges and the cute ribbon. Although it is pink, a touch of white made it very me. Cute!

Second thing I've always wanted which you can totally afford, IF you can find it (because I myself can't find it), would be sleeping eyeshades. Usually we find the ugly dull coloured (black or grey uergh like those in A380..a plane if you don't know). But I want a really cute, white or light blue...or any colourful ones, with fur or pretty details. I think you can get these at Victoria's Secret but there's no VS here. You can try La Senza or Women's Secret.

The next on my list screams AFFORDABLE! So if you've been busy clubbing and shopping last month for Christmas and NYE, and have spent out all your moo-lah, maybe these are your picks. Please, I won't laugh at you or discriminate you because I really need these!

Haha! I made arrows for you so you'd know what kind I really want. Bobby pins come in different shapes and uses. The one on the upper left side are the usual ones, but the little curves make it easier to remove. And I like tying up my hair in buns, bobby pins like the one on the right are perfect for tie-ups and buns! You can find these at Guardian or Watsons for a few dollars. (please don't buy too many packets though haha!) There's also a shop at Tropicana City Mall (new mall near SS2, awesome, along LDP!) which sells these pins. Affordable much?

The next one may seem more like a splurge. Make up is definitely on a girl's list all the time. You can never go wrong giving make up. My eyeliners are dying, so yeah...I've tried liquid eyeliners and pencil ones, so now I really want to try gel eyeliners!

I've searched up and reviews said Bobbi Brown and MAC ones are good, but these are definitely ex-to-the-spen-sive (expensive that would be).

If you are not willing to splurge, it's ok, you can just get me liquid eyeliners from L'oreal. Which is awesome because I am used to it. In black okay! Haha. Fussy I am. These are definitely less than RM50 but more than RM20.


Make up....to make up brushes. I think I have enough brushes but I don't think I own a set completely.

This is the one brush that I want the most. The angled liner brush that is. Sweet. Well, some may know brushes aren't cheap, well if you get them from MAC that is. However, I was shopping the other day and found one from The Face Shop (1u, Sunway Pyramid, Curve, Tropicana City Mall). It was only RM 19.90, but still I wasn't willing to fork out, haha, I am very very stingy. So if below RM20 is your budget, this is the pick!


The next item on my list is something I lost a long time ago but never really found a pretty one. It is a tissue pouch. Haha, how weird!

This one is absolutely cute! But you have to ship it from Singapore wtf.

I've once found one in Lovely Lace for RM10, but RM10 for a tissue pouch is ouch for me. So if you're thinking to pamper me a little, yay!


Lastly, is not something I must have, but if I was given this, I am always very happy. Unless I hate the design wtf. The next thing are watches. I've received 2 watches as presents in my entire sad 21 years of life, but both I loved dearly and cherished dearly.

I like big chunky cuff watches. Love the nude colour of this.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE WATCHES LIKE THIS. Big, fat and chunky. Fat leather straps. Very bulky. However, I've always been worried I cannot carry a watch like this because my wrists are really tiny (nothing wrong being skinny!). But omg, I love Guess box sets which you can change the straps though. I love Esprit watches too, I'm torn now, can you tell? Haha!

So if you're worried of the skinny wrists problem, sigh, you can always opt for a metal strap one because my metal strap watch died on me. However, I usually prefer leather strap ones. They're more rugged, which looks very down to earth but still has a touch of elegance and class to it. I love leather straps.

There! My very long post on what I want! If you still can't decide what to get me, get me clothes. Nice ones please, no ugly ones. I am a very clothy person.

And oh, panties, smallest size please, I have a small butt haha. Which is not a sin! Big butts are sometimes ugly, do you know. Same goes to breasts. Big is sometimes an eyesore. They sag fast too! So adios, I will be back for another short post on my little gifts for Christmas! Tata!

Bestie's 20th Birthday @ Brussels, Jaya One

On 14th of December, the bestie turned 20. Obligatory event : well, to celebrate that is. When she turns 20, it usually means a good thing for her, bad thing for me...means in no time, I turn 21. I have a fear of aging! It was decided that we should hang out on her eve.

I've always seen and have been itchy to try this place out called Brussels at Jaya One. It has a very gaily environment and very friendly ambience. Like a town bar. As usual, it's packed to its brim, hello.

I don't usually drink, but that night I felt obliged to 'layan'. If you get what I mean. So really, a glass of wine will do for me.

Sheng Hwang's 20th Birthday

23rd December was a big day. Rather hectic one. But it was an awesome day. Actually the best of that week itself. I have a habit of liking to keep myself busy. I woke up, reluctantly, very early that morning and boy, did it make my day.

I woke up to the most beautiful blue skies ever! This is the view from my window. The sun was warm and the weather was fine. Blue skies = symbol of a great day.


Headed off to 1u for some shopping and lunch. Got some last minute stuffs. I was the driver of the day despite having minimal sleep. Reached home awfully late and thought Yee Vonn would have to wait for me, but alleluia, she got stuck in the jam (which is a good thing, this time, haha).
That day itself was pretty important because...


on the 23rd of December, was Brandon’s 20th surprise birthday gathering. It was quite a hassle because, being the person behind it, and being a Capricorn (Capricon-ers are perfectionists), I was sort of trying to make everything perfect. Being the usual me, I wanted everyone to be happy. Picking the venue was really the hardest task of the bunch. Sorry for the change of venue.Less on the organizing, more on the pictures shall we? People say, a picture says a thousand words.

Everyone was supposed to reach before the birthday boy himself, but, hello, Msian timing and Msian traffic. His group of friends arrived late but Brandon was still shocked himself. He suspected I had no ability to do that, wtf, looked down on me (trust me when I say I can do more than that, I am beauty and brains, wtf, hehe, kidding). Everyone was really cooperative with informing me little details though no one knew anyone.

Got him a car model. (Plan for presents gone wrong.)

Three very gorgeous Senoritas. Yee Vonn’s tube matches the place very well. Oh I finally picked De Canter SS17. Thought Brandon wanted something quaintly and cosy but still friendly enough for everyone. Prices are relatively reasonable. But I honestly, just love the ambience more.
